Drone Jeff

This is a special transformation induced on a host's body by "Worm Jeff" (introduced in my story "Evil Never Dies" fav.me/d5lp8lv ). Originally intended as an emergency escape vehicle for the parasite, they are essentially brainwashed slaves. Unlike the typical Jeff-metamorphosis (which typically takes anywhere from 12 hours to several weeks, but can take as little as 3 hours under the right circumstances) this mutation can be induced in less than two minutes. The specimen pictured here is the garden-variety, red-winged, pink-eyed Worker. They are the "redshirts" (or should I say redwings?) of Jeff's army. They are very good at building things. Drones of all types can fly (with a few exceptions), attack with their razor-sharp claws, and spit acid, but each of the four classes have their own unique strengths and weaknesses. For example, Workers have the smallest wings and are thus the worst fliers, but have the most powerful stingers. They are also the least intelligent.

The other three classes are as follows: the strong but short-tempered silver-winged Soliders ( laserpotato.deviantart.com/art… ), the swift but fragile blue-winged Foragers ( laserpotato.deviantart.com/art… ) and the usually-asleep golden-winged Nurses ( laserpotato.deviantart.com/art… )
